I'm a corn-shucker from way back. Still have Granpa's old leather and iron "extry thumb".

I can see how that might be a concern.

Too far for me to drive for mystery speakers--if they were closer I'd be all over them.... It would be a real shame if no one grabs these before the weather destroys them. My wife and I rescued a dog not too long ago--there should be an organization that rescues speakers!

BFISH--if that's what the corn festivals are like in Arkansas, maybe I live in the wrong state.....

The ad has been pulled. I didn't think it would last long. I assume that one of the resellers that trolls Craiglist bought up the lot.

I would not bet against you...there are several board members in Central Ohio, was mostly trying to get the deal into a deserving person's hands...

Bet those old aluminum JBL radials had Alnico two inchers...somebody may have gotten rich..

Several years ago I attended the Millersport corn festival and seen most of the speakers in action. They had drivers that were not JBL or Altec and did not seem to be kept in decent shape.

At the time I inquired about the speakers at the festival from someone working the sound systems and he commented that they were kept going with whatever drivers could be found locally.

BTW, the sound quality was really lacking at the corn festival from what I remember.

Now those poor girls have a sore bottom from sitting on that load of corn. I wonder what I could do to help them....
